Golden Sour #4, with mango and passion fruit. Tropical fruit opens to a light berry malt aroma with hints of earthy spice. Bright tartness accents the tropical fruit addition and the effervescent bite leads to a sweet balanced malt finish.
Golden Sour #3, with black currants. Our spontaneous Golden Sour base aged on black currants pours a light pink in color. Subtle hints of blackberry and raspberry. The peppery flavor of the black currant is apparent, but not dominant. This leaves room for the base beer and the flavor of the fruit to shine through in equal parts.
Golden Sour #2, with passion fruit. A mix of several Saison barrels from the last 2 years of brewing and aging at the Santa Cruz farmhouse. Tart and juicy, a refreshing beer for the warm spring days. Bottled 03/21/18.
A blend of several Saisons brewed over the past 2 years at the farmhouse. Limited release for SF Beer Week. Tart, dry, with a clean finish.
