An iteration on the original dark farmhouse recipe. This used a bigger malt bill resulting in a darker, more full bodied beer. Aged in rye whiskey barrels to impart a slightly smoky character without the booziness. Dark chocolate, roasty, mildly tart with a sweet and balanced finish.
